The calling cards are en route
If you haven’t heard of Moo Cards, do yourself a favor and check out their site. They set themselves apart from other printers of business cards a few ways:
- The front side of each card can have its own picture or graphic: so if you order a 50 card set, you can upload 50 photographs and you’ll have one of each. The back side of the card is then the same on each of the 50 (or more) cards. Here’s my design for the back:
-The fronts of my cards have my favorite photos and designs. I’ll post some examples soon.
-They aren’t this size in real life, of course. More like 2.17″ x 3.31″, so bit bigger than your average card. They offer a mini card as well, with the same options as described above, but coming in at 1.1″ x 2.76″. I’ve only held their standard cards, which are pleasantly thick and have a matte, plasticky feel (if that sounds gross, it isn’t meant to. They’re almost like thin portfolio covers, but not really. Smooth but not slick. I’m struggling to describe a sensation, and failing.)
They take a couple of weeks to print and ship, so I’m patiently waiting. I’ll post some photos of the finished product when they arrive.
